For those of you who have a bouquet or fresh cut flowers, first thing you need to do is have a clean non-metallic  vase, add lots of fresh, clean  water, if possible filtered and a drop of bleach. Unwrap your flowers and re-cut the stems with a clean pair of secateurs or floristry knife 2cms up on a 45 degree angle. Immerse them into the vase water immediately.
